1. About this website
This website provides information about Discover the Difference, our services, areas of work and ways to contact us. By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully.
2. About Discover the Difference
Discover the Difference provides workplace inclusion consultancy, training, facilitation, speaking and related support focused on neuroinclusion, diversity, equity and inclusion, menopause at work, manager confidence, retention and inclusive workplace practice.
You can contact us at hello@discoverthedifference.uk.
3. Website content is general information
The content on this website is provided for general information only. It is not legal, medical, clinical, financial, employment or HR advice for a specific situation.
Workplace inclusion, menopause, neurodivergence, reasonable adjustments and employee relations can involve sensitive individual and organisational circumstances. Organisations should seek appropriate professional advice before making decisions in specific cases.
4. Services and client agreements
Submitting an enquiry through this website or by email does not create a client relationship by itself.
Any consultancy, training, facilitation, speaking, audit, review, workshop or project work will be agreed separately, usually through a proposal, booking confirmation, email agreement, contract, data processing agreement or statement of work. Where those specific terms conflict with these website terms, the specific agreed terms will take priority.
5. Sensitive information
Please do not send confidential, sensitive or special category personal information through the website unless it is necessary for your enquiry. If sensitive information is needed for a project, we will agree the appropriate scope, handling and safeguards with the client organisation.
Where a client organisation shares employee, participant or organisational information with us, the client organisation is responsible for ensuring it has the appropriate authority, transparency and lawful basis to share that information, unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
6. ROI Calculator and examples
Any calculator, example, case study, estimate or business case on this website is provided as a planning aid only. It is not a guarantee of financial return, cost saving, legal compliance, employee outcome or business result.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, wording, design, graphics, frameworks, resources and materials on this website belong to Discover the Difference or are used with permission.
You may view and share links to this website for normal business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, sell, publish, train systems on, or commercially reuse our content or materials without written permission.
8. Links to other websites
This website may link to external websites, including LinkedIn, public guidance, partner websites or third-party resources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, accessibility or privacy practices of external websites.
9. Website availability and accuracy
We aim to keep this website accurate, useful and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We may update, remove or change website content at any time.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discover the Difference is not responsible for loss or damage arising from use of this website, reliance on general website content, temporary unavailability, or use of external links.
11. Governing law
Unless a separate client agreement says otherwise, these website terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page.
